TRAINING //
A bio... well one could write something 'professional' in the third person, feigning vaguely that someone with erudite PR skills; (not myself) is telling you about Kimberley the 'award winner', the 'versatile creative', weaving other heavily 'thesaurused' adjectives in to describe talent and passion; one is a writer, after all, isn't one, so that should be easy.

But, who are we kidding? This website was written and created by the subject herself - and until such time as I change my philosophy, I'll do my best not to fake it for you.

Perhaps ironically I've chosen an industry of smoke an mirrors when I most value honesty, but I know I'm not alone in this.
Honestly; it's people, and people's stories, that I'm here for. Start with real human experience and weave a story from there. I've come at storytelling from the slant of an actor for many years and more recently turned my hand to filmmaking too. Playing, getting lost in a world that is unusual to me, exploring life in someone else skin, experiences, times, voices, that's all brilliant fun.

Instead of waxing on about where I trained and my credits (you'll find a few of them below, I've tried to make all the linky bits easy and work), I invite you, if you've read this far, to tell me your story, I'd love to hear it. Just drop me a line...

In a line or two; I'm fairly nerdy with itchy feet to do and experience as much as possible in the world. This career path seemed to offer both a challenge and the chance to experience many different lives, affording me the chance to step into many different shoes.

I'm honoured enough to have been awarded a few things for my work, there's a list on this site...here.

You can find my work as an actor as well as my writing and directing on Amazon and Netflix; I've toured plays across the UK, lived in the City of Angels, and have acquired mostly useless slash amusing skills like being able to sabrage bottles of champagne, flying the trapeze or sword fight. Sometimes I draw and paint, though not as often as I'd like, I enjoy boxing, swimming, dancing and cooking. I also write, procrastinate, talk on the phone a lot to friends, spend a lot of time worrying about family and world problems I cannot solve. I want to create and do so many things...but no one of these things define me or probably impress you all that much.

At best I may have nudged a teenie wry smile from you. I'm not convinced one even needs a website, but here I am, and here you are, so I hope you find it vaguely amusing, professional enough not to cringe and if you want more;

I'm on instagram, as is my film Mabel, which seems to generally go down well with people - so I dedicated a whole page to it.

I'm currently working with students at one of my old drama schools; LAMDA, advising on the industry, particularly the US, and finding enormous reward in helping out young actors on the early steps of their blossoming careers.
When not there, I'm spending time in between with my daughter, enjoying the relatively new and incredibly different journey of motherhood.

I'm passionate about many things - injustice, human rights, kindness among the human race... I've put a few sites below that are of great importance to me, that you may find interesting. I'm a believer in our ability to keep doing better and to create a better world. Keep reading, keep learning, and keep sharing what you find out.

Thank you for reading and clicking into my journey here on this beautiful, impressive planet we get to call home.
